This is one of my all-time favorite cards! I made it quite awhile ago, and really need to do some more. I watercolored with Blender Pens on Watercolor Paper, everything except the sky. The sky was sponged with Bashful Blue. The photo doesn't do the camo justice. There's a little more brown and green, but it looks washed out here. The card base is Sahara Sand with a Chocolate Chip mat that I tore at the bottom to "reveal" the words. I typed the phrase with a non-SU font called Kayleigh and printed on Whisper White card stock. The circles were done with the 1/2" and 3/4" Circle Punches and I hand-cut the rectangles.
I used the following colors with the blender pens: Artichoke, Thyme (retired) & Sahara Sand to make the camo boat; Summer Sun mixed with Guava (retired) for the life preservers; Guava mixed with Pomegranate (retired) for the lamp; Guava & Rust for the wife's shirt; Really Rust, Caramel & Old Olive for the DH's shirt; Choc Chip for the puppy and chair; Going Grey for the anchor; Artichoke on the plant; Caramel on the box and flower pot; and Night of Navy for the water. I'm sorry for the retired colors, but you can use other colors in various intensities for endless color combinations.
Happy Stampin'!
