Above is another inspiration card for you, featuring three (3) techniques: Faux Torn Paper, Emboss Resist and Crayon Resist.

Emboss Resist & Faux Paper: I tore a piece of scrap paper and laid it on the bottom 3/4 of the Whisper White card front.  I stamped the snowflakes in Almost Amythest Craft Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then, I used a brayer to apply Bashful Blue ink over the snowflakes, and wiped excess ink off the snowflakes with a paper towel. 

Crayon Resist: I stamped the focal image and colored it with a white crayon.  Then, I used the other half of the torn scrap paper to apply Almost Amethyst Classic ink on the bottom section in the same way, and again wiped off any excess ink with a paper towel.  I added a little more color on the snowman with Blender Pen and Classic Ink Pads.
