Our occasion-specific mini catalogs allow us the opportunity to share the latest seasonal products with you and your customers, and we often carry over products from our mini catalogs into the following Idea Book & Catalog. This time, however, we have decided not to carry over the Stocking Builder Punch (item 124095) from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog into the next Idea Book & Catalog. Instead we will offer other great designs in its place--not to mention a trendy, new design planned for next holiday season.

Once the current inventory of this punch has been depleted, it will no longer be available for purchase. We hope many Stampin' Up! stockings will adorn cards and brighten holiday projects this season and look forward to seeing what you create with the next seasonal design.

8 Weeks of Hanukkah - #4

Welcome to 8 Weeks of Hanukkah

Cards, Gifts and Bags! I've created cards, tags, gift items and gift bags to share with you over these 8 weeks
leading up to the celebration of Hanukkah. 
The series is in the same format as my 12 Weeks of Christmas, including step-by-step instructions.  Next year, it will be exclusive to my newsletter members.  But, since this is a brand new series, I decided to publish it for everyone.

Unfortunately, this series has been overcome by events, but I will play catch-up and get the rest of my samples to you over the next several days.

Sample #4 is a digital tag that features our Hebrew Holidays Stamp Brush Set and Marina Mist Patterns Designer Series Paper.
 

Supplies:

My Digital Studio  #118108
Jewish Holiday Sayings Digital Stamp Brush Set (containing the Hewbrew Holidays Stamp Brush Set)  #128334
Glimmer Brads Digital Download #123964
Satin Ribbon Digital Download #121063

Instructions:

1.Download and install each of the above digital downloads.
2.Open a new 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" Tag, and choose to create your own.
3.Add a Square Punch and fill it with Marina Mist Polka Dot Patterns Designer Series Digital Paper.  Double click the Marina Paper and reduce the zoom about 4 times.
4.Add another Square Punch.  Drag the sides to make it fit across the tag about a 1/2" x 4 1/4", and place it about a 1/2" above the bottom edge.  Color fill it with Concord Crush.
5.Add Vanilla Satin Ribbon and reduce the size to fit on the Concord Crush punched strip.
6.Add a Silver Glimmer Brad on top of the Ribbon.
7.Add one more Square Punch, and Color Fill with Very Vanilla.  Mat with Concord Crush.
8.Add the dreidl from Hebrew Holidays and change the color to Marina Mist.
9.Add "for you" from Hebrew Holidays and change the color to Concord Crush.
(If sending to the Stampin' Up printer, copy the Marina Polka Dot punch and paste it to Page 2 of the tag, then add one of the copyright stamps in Concord Crush.)
10.Print one or more tags.  Hole-punch the top left corner and string with ribbon of your choice.

I am very far behind on all my social media fun stuff.  I promise I'll fix that over the next few days.  I rolled right from a fun family trip to Nashville over Thanksgiving into hosting a baby shower, then a vendor opportunity popped up.  So, now that the reality fun is done, I can spend a little more time on our virtual fun.  I will catch up on the 8 Weeks of Hanukkah, and also send out the missed weeks from my 12 Weeks of Christmas newsletters very soon. 

For now, I just want to say a quick thanks to the Marne Community Club for a great holiday luncheon Monday!  I had a blast meeting everyone, and really enjoyed the opportunity to have a vendor table there for you all.

New Demonstrator Treat

Here is a fun little treat I made for one of my former downline who recently rejoined my team.  I love how this whole set turned out!

I used our Tickets & Tokens Simply Scrappin' Kit, the Tote-ally Tess and Artistic Etchings stamp sets, and 1 1/4" Basic Gray Grosgrain Ribbon to decorate and fill this 5"x5" bag.

I have tons of projects just waiting to be shared, but I fell off the blogging wagon.  I will catch up on 8 Weeks of Hanukkah and share lots more later this week.
