Are you ready for this?????
I love our new digital software program, My Digital Studio (MDS)!
You may have guessed that already, if you read my review of MDS the other day (HERE).
So, without further delay, let the MDS sharing begin!
We are usually behind the camera, so I had Tom take this photo of us on Saturday (at a skating party for one of the kids). I scrapbooked the photo that evening.
You may notice that the flower paper is from a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit called Summer Home. And, the retired In Colors are there too (Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red on this page).
I "stamped" the flower from Baroque Motifs on the background "paper" (Brocade Blue "card stock"), then added the "paper" strips and "ribbon."
The scallop circle was "punched" and filled with another pattern paper from Summer Home.
I "stamped" the always circle from our Always stamp set, and layered it on there too.
The photo and scallop circle are "matted," which is a function of the program. No need to add an actual "paper" layer.
I added "drop shadows" to most of the elements on this page.
I typed and formatted our names and the date with the text tool.
The "kindred spirits" circle is a "stamp" from a retired rub-on set, and the white flower is a stamp from Enjoy Every Moment.
These are all digital images found in MDS, applied in layers on the canvas, and saved as one image in .jpeg format for sharing.
I made the page as a 12x12. Once it is available (later this month), I will be able to send this page with others to our printing service. Or, I can open it in another photo program, add it to a smaller canvas for resizing, and print it on my home printer.
Let me know what you think and if you have any questions! I'll be back tomorrow with more fun digi-shares!
Happy Stampin'!
